High Protein Naan Pizza

A very healthy and delicious pizza using seitan and topped with nutritional yeast! Both, seitan and nutritional yeast, are very high protein.⁣

Ingredients

  • Whole wheat naan

  • Pizza sauce of choice (as needed)

  • Variety of veggies (bell pepper, onion, kale, tomato are used in this)

  • Seitan⁣ slices (handful)

  • Dash of salt, pepper and chilli flakes

  • Nutritional Yeast (1-2 tbsp)


Instructions

  • Preheat at 350C

  • Prepare naan pizza with the ingredients

  • Bake it for 20 mins on 350C and broil it for 3 mins⁣

  • Top it with salt, pepper, chilli flakes and nutritional yeast


Seitan & Nutritional Yeast

  • Seitan is made from wheat gluten and mimics taste and texture of meat. It is used as a plant-based protein option around the world. It is high in protein and very low in fat making it a great healthier alternative to meat.⁣

  • ⁣Nutritional yeast is also high protein and I often use it as an alternative to vegan cheese. It is very nutritious, high in B vitamins and trace minerals.
