Healthy Peanut Butter & Chocolate Brownies

Sugar free, flourless, plant-based, whole food, nut free vegan brownie recipe!


  • 2 very ripe bananas, mashed

  • 1/2 cup peanut butter

  • 1/3 cup cacao powder

  • 1 tbsp blended Medjool dates

  • 1/2 tsp baking soda

  • 1 tbsp grounded chia seeds (can replace with flaxseed)

  • 50g vegan dark chocolate chips (optional)


  1. Preheat the oven to 400F.

  2. Blend 3-5 dates in a blender. Use 1 tbsp of blended dates (this step may require soaking or hydrating dates).

  3. In a bowl mix all the ingredients except for chocolate chips.

  4. Transfer the batter to a baking dish. Sprinkle with vegan chocolate drops (optional).

  5. Bake for 25-30 minutes. Cool completely. Slice and enjoy!

Tip: If you have a peanut allergy, switch to nut butter! Allergic to both? Replace it with a seed butter!
